College enrolls a limited number of freshmen into the following majors:
chemistry, environmental/forest biology, forest engineering, forest
resources management, forestry/biology, landscape architecture, and paper
science/engineering. Others may be enrolled for sophomore or junior year
under Guaranteed Transfer Admissions Program. Most students spend two years
at another college prior to entering SUNY-ESF; applicants are encouraged to
enroll in a pre-ESF cooperative program for their freshman and sophomore
years.
