General Information
  • For a personal orientation and interaction session a campus visit is recommended.
  • Chemistry, physics, and trigonometry strongly recommended. The academy tenders appointments solely on the basis of an annual nationwide competition; no congressional nominations or geographical quotas. All entrants must be at least 17 but not yet 22 years of age by July 1 of the year of admission. All applicants must be unmarried U.S. citizens (foreign nationals with approval) with no parental obligations or responsibilities.
