About Learning Disabled Programs and Services
- There is no specific program or service available for Learning Disabled students.
- There is no limit to the number of Learning Disabled students.
- There is no limit to the percent of students allowed into the Learning Disabled program.
Application Requirements
- SAT I is required with minimum scores of:
- English: 400
- Math: 400
- Combined: 800

- A personal interview is recommended.
- An essay is required and it may be typed.
- Untimed tests are accepted.
- GED certification is accepted.
Learning Disabled Student Services
- List of applicable services for Learning Disabled students:
- Remedial Math
- Remedial English
- Note-taking Services
- Tutors
- Learning Center
- Learning Disabled students are tutored individually and in small groups.
- Credit is not given for remedial courses taken.
Learning Disabled Term and Staff Information
- The Learning Disabled student program runs on a minimal term.
- A lighter course load is not given to Learning Disabled students.
- Additional time is not given to complete degree.
- No extra cost for Learning Disabled students.
- There are 4 full-time staff persons available to work with Learning Disabled students.
- Mr. Gerry Swanson, Director of Learning Assistance Center, is the key staff person available to work with Learning Disabled students.
