1 unit each of math and foreign lanugage in 12th year recommended. English
units must emphasize grammar, composition, and literature; math units must
include algebra I and II and geometry or higher-level course for which
algebra II is a prerequisite; science units must include at least 1 unit of
life or biological science and 1 unit of physical science; social studies
units must include 1 unit of U.S. history. Minimum combined SAT I score of
960 (composite ACT score of 21), rank in top fifth of secondary school
class, and minimum 3.1 GPA recommended.
