By using the powerful features provided, you minimize the chance of missing important deadlines or tasks. By using the Organizer you can more efficiently use your time, keep track of due dates, be reminded of important procedures or tasks and generally move forward down the road to college admission. Use the services available in this program to help keep track of all application materials, scholarships searches and applications, test dates, recommendations, and to obtain useful help in writing application essays and resumes'.   • Apply for and take your college admissions tests. (SAT I, SAT II or ACT tests)
  • Submit application materials for early admissions programs (check college admissions dates) Remember to use the College Research service to help you determine your target colleges.
  • Submit application materials for scholarship opportunities
  • Work on college admissions essays.

November through December

  • Apply to independent colleges and universities.
  • Have transcripts sent to colleges to which you are applying , if required.
  • (December) Have recommendations and Secondary School Reports sent to the colleges to which you are applying, if required.

January through Febuary

  • Have your parents work on completing the FAFSA and if required by the colleges to which you are applying, the CSS Financial Aid PROFILE forms.
  • Have seventh semester transcripts and Seventh Semester School Reports sent to the colleges to which you are applying, if required.
  • Continue to complete college admissions materials for colleges with later admission due dates.

January through May

  • Submit application materials for the majority of your scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
  • (March 2nd) Submit your FAFSA, CSS Financial Aid PROFILE and Grade Point Verification Form to apply for financial aid. (The dates these documents may be required will vary---ALWAYS CHECK INFORMATION PROVIDED BY EACH OF YOUR TARGET COLLEGES.
  • (Mid-April) You will be notified of admission, rejection, wait-listing, or other options. (GOOD LUCK)
  • (May 1st) Generally accepted deadline for you to notify colleges of whether or not you intend to enroll in their institution.

January through June

You will be notified of the results of scholarship, grant, and financial aid opportunites. Keep an eye out.
